"Making a big decision is just more than a simple choice,
it also means throwing something else away in the process.
If you choose the right path,
you lose all possibilities given on the left one.
There is no right or wrong choice,
just don't regret the choice you've made."

People have offered many potential explanations for this discrepancy, but this ad highlights the importance of the social cues that push girls away from math and science in their earliest childhood years.

Watch the powerful Verizon advertisement to really understand what a little girl hears when you tell her she’s pretty.

32: If you could make a game for an anime of your choice, what would it be and why?

Ehhh I’m not really into games, but if I had to choose then I’d say… Free! As a BL visual novel (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧  Haru is the main character and all the boys are after his lil sweet ass smile. I’d only play Makoto’s route though.

39: Is there an anime you wish was more popular?

I’ve already answered this one, but in case you missed my previous answer…. HIKARU NO GO!!! EVERYONE GO WATCH HIKARU NO GO!!

Yeah, I see you with your Baseballs, Volleyballs, Swimmings…

Hikaru no Go.

Best Sports Anime ever.

It’s a million episodes of Pageboy and Two-Tone obsessing over one another’s board-game playing abilities. Obsessing.  They are obsessed with one another.  I’m pretty sure one of them is a sociopath.  But still.

Go ahead.  You watch it.  I’ll wait.

commonxreaction:

Another one of my favorite manga/anime.

I think that there is a stigma on the gaming genre of manga/anime. Most people don’t care much about it, because they think it’s boring. I don’t hear too many people talk Hikaru no Go or Yu-Gi-Oh! with anything other than neutrality or disdain. And most of the time, they haven’t read the manga. They just judge based on the dubbed anime. I think the most popular one might by Chihayafuru, and only a handful of people even talk/know about that. But, I don’t know. Maybe i’m just talking to the wrong people and need to branch out.

Either way, I really love this type of series. It usually has a much tighter plot and better storytelling/writing. A lot of the big names; Naruto, Bleach, One Piece, Fairy Tail, and Dragonball Z seem to float based on action, and various dramatic or comedic one liners. And while those series are good, I just have a thing for a really tight plot and character development. It’ll win me over 100% of the time. It also may have to do with the fact that I can more easily emulate a real-world game as opposed to transforming into a Super Saiyan or whatnot.

Вот почему аниме о спорте нравится мне все больше и больше.
